Winter has arrived at Silver Star, and with it the opening of Nordic skiing on Friday, November 26 and Alpine on Friday, December 3rd. We are all looking forward to getting out on the snow, with hopes that the Covid situation will impact us all to a lesser degree than it did last year.
On that note, your SSPOA Board has been working at finding a way to hold the AGM at the end of December while still abiding by the current Public Health Orders. Check out the newsletter for details, and save the date on your calendar!

The BC Winter Games are coming to Silver Star – February 24-27, 2022

The Ski Way Signage Project
Every year as winter progresses, the snowbanks get higher and the roads get narrower. The SSPOA Board looked at various ways to alleviate the problem, and over the course of this last “off-season” have completed signage installation at 10 different access points to the ski ways. The SSPOA Meets with the RCMP
Following what seemed like an increase of theft and petty crime around the mountain, members of the Board of the SSPOA met with the RCMP as part of a joint initiative with the Silver Star Resort Association. Learn all about the outcome of that meeting in your newsletter!
